Paige's Funhouse

This is a memorial site to Paige Devine nee Pullen, with some of her words as her cancer progressed and therefore very personal. Parts of the site are still to be finished and may never be. Here you will not find expert opinion but you will find truth. You will find Paige's husband Rob's testimony to her strength, shared accounts of how it was, pictures of life and fun, and a wedding. Rob has included how he has been able to support others.

Meg Heggie

Here are some thoughts of my own about how I felt and how I feel. I intend to change and added to this page as time goes on.

Sue Scott

Sue's Dad had cancer some years ago and had major surgery which proved successful. Sadly, cancer returned in the form of untreatable brain tumours and he died early this year.(2001) Following on from her Dad's positive attitude, Sue embarked on the same course of studies as myself, and her Open University assignment was on Cancer and Nutrition. Sue' link has gone but I am leaving this snippet as a reminder of the amazingly positive attitude people can have.

Marguerite Connell

Rita is a fellow Open University student and I am humbly appreciative of her sharing her story. At 80 years old she is a very strong lady and an inspiration to us all.

Juliette Watkiss

Juliette is a fellow Open University student who is bravely sharing her emotions over her mother's death. Remembering can be very painful and I am sure this will help others. Thank you Juliette.

Gloria Dinmore

Gloria, who has contributed much to this site, lost her mother to cancer in November 2001. I thank Gloria for sending the words which a friend gave to her. I hope that others appreciate them also.

Vivienne Bern

I meet young Vivienne at a Folk club where she plays guitar and sings. Vivienne shares memories about her Gran who died from breast cancer many years ago. These are the kind of memories we all should have and we all should cherish.

Marion Spence

Marion, my friend and fellow OU student, shares precious memories of her cousin's wife, Jessie who died in May 2004. Marion says that her page is dedicated to Tommy, her cousin, and his son and daughter, Paul and Michelle. Their loss is even greater than mine.

JoAnne Callaway

JoAnne lost her mother to cancer in 1999 and now her father is ill with prostrate cancer. As a nutritial consultant, JoAnne researches products, and looking for alternative treatments is her contribution to the fight against cancer. She shares this information with us in her story.

Patty Grady

Patty's mom was diagnosed with liver cancer in June 2004 and died December 2004. This page is about the strength and love of a family.

Angela Patterson

Angela was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was 36 weeks pregnant. Bravely, she has shared her experiences for others to benefit from. Angela writes great poetry and you find this on her blog, angelathepinktiger.blogspot.com.. She really is very skilled.

Michelle Schaefer

Michelle writes a tribute to her friend Deb Farren. I thought this deserved a page.
